About us |

St.
Joseph's Girls High School, Cuttack, was opened more than a hundred years
ago, by the Sister of St. Joseph of Annecy, France, and is under the
religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of
Cuttack-Bhubaneswar. It is a Christian School that aims at the educational
needs of members of the Communities as far as is possible.
The type of education imparted in the school, takes into
account background and personality, with love and patience

Hindi. provide a sound and
practical education for young girls who are gradually led to
self-formation, and to develop a sense of responsibility and
concern for others. Girls are admitted at Nursery level and
prepared for the 10th Class Examination (Indian Certificate
of Secondary Education) of the Council for the Indian School
Certificate Examination, New Delhi to which Board the school
is affiliated. It is a privately run minority school not
aided, but recognised by the Education department of the
State with due emphasis on the study of the following Indian.
School Hours: The working days are divided in to two
sessions. The morning session lasts from 8.30 a.m. to 11.55 a.m.The
afternoon session is from 12.30 to 3.10 p.m.The school assembly is
held daily at 8.30a.m. All pupils and staff members must be present. |

School Uniform: Pupils must attend school in the
prescribed uniform, blue tunic and white blouse, Shoes and socks must
be worn by all. |

as sisters of St. Joseph witness Jesus the teacher in all our educational
institutions. We aim at removing the evil of illiteracy from the mass
through our schools.St. Joseph's schools aim at forming a community
